Abobo’s Big Adventure

There was a time when I wasn’t the handsome man you all have fallen in love with, this time was known as the 80s. For those who don’t understand what it was like being raise in this glorious era you missed out on experience the glory of the NES for the rest of you you remember blowing cartages and watching horrid Mario brothers tv show. Lucky for both groups Abobo’s Big Adventure is available. Abobo’s Big Adventure is taking everyone’s experiences of the NES and mashing it into a one perfect 8-bit game.

Desktop Dungeons – Killing one tile at a time.

Desktop Dungeons may look like a simple tile based RPG yet it hides depth within it’s tiled walls. When i was a child i would spend hours playing rouglelike games (most notable Tunnels Of Doom) but the rise of power graphics made these games fade to the background. So when someone pointed me toward Desktop Dungeons I was ready to either fall back in love with random dungeons and clicking or hate the simplistic game play.

Desktop Dungeons premise is pretty straight forward; crawl dungeons to accomplish quests and unlock new races, weapons, classes, and kits. When you first start out your town is pretty bleak with only the options of a simple human fighter but just after a few dungeon crawls you will find your options increasing right in time with the dungeon complexity.

Crawling dungeons in this worlds is pretty simple to control but the complexity comes….

Uplink

Script kiddy happiness at its finest. I’m not sure why I decided to play the classic hacking game Uplink but I’m glad i did.

I will be playing this for awhile so watch for updates daily.
